While some of you fabulouso folks were at RT, I was home wallowing in terror at the possibility of getting laid off from my job, then the sheer joy at still having my job, then moving on to planning the bar mitzvah, and writing checks for the bar mitzvah (ouch!). I read all your wonderful posts, but hardly commented. So imagine my utter joy when I won not one, but two contests this last week... the fantabulous Pamela Clare sent me an autographed copy of Unlawful Contact, and the ever-so-awesome Beth Williamson sent me a bag of goodies from RT.
First things first, I don't know if you've heard, but Beth has just received a 3-book contract from none other than Kate Duffy at Kensington. Congratulations to Beth, and WOOT!!!
Now... being the dufus that I am, I forgot that I had Unlawful Contact on order at Amazon. So not only do I have a brand-spankin shiny new, personally autographed copy of it from the lovely, gracious Pamela Clare, but I have a brand-spankin new copy of it from Amazon. I really only need one copy. So.... just leave a comment for me and I will have Steve the Spaz draw a name from the commenters on Friday night, 10 pm pacific time to receive said copy. And did I mention, not only is Pamela Clare a fabulous author -- I love not only this series, and have you read Surrender? Loveloveloved it!!! --She is also a fellow CU Alum. Go Buffs!!!

Enjoy the treats, Lori!! And thanks for the kudos - you know I'm still dazed and amazed!!! :D
No need to enter me - I have 2 copies - and ARC from Pamela and one I bought myself just cause I know I'd need two - but this is a Really Awesome Book!! Loved it.
I already read Unlawful Contact. Fan-freaking-tastic!! Loved it!
HUGE congrats to Beth! Woot! And welcome to the Bradford Family!
I would love to read this book! Please enter me.
Please enter me in the drawing...thank you.
Aren't you a sweetie! I've been reading some great reviews about this book and would love to read it.
Well I don't have Unlawful Contact yet. You know how long it's been since I've walked into a bookstore? Um, a long time. At least a month. I'm starting to feel lightheaded and short of breath.......
So um yeah. Please enter me in the drawing.
Congrats on winning TWO contests. Boy, just when you thought things were dicey, they got way better.
Now I know you're a fan of Beth Williamson, as I am, so I'm wondering if you got anything you hadn't already read. heh heh That is great news about Beth getting a contract from Kensington. It's fun to see great writers start in ebooks and progress to NY pubs.
I don't think I've read anything by Pamela Clare. This would be a first, if I win. *G*
I've wanted this book for awhile now :D
Welcome Jessica, Karen, Cathy, and Ashley to our little corner of the world :)
Wendy, I know you were in a book store last time I was in one with you! Cause I spent a fortune while you sat back and watched! And, hey, don't I already owe you an Allison Brennan book? I warned you I was a flake LOL! I still have it.
Linda, all her books are great. Her historicals are awesome, too. I can send you Surrender if you want - the next one is coming out soon. (whispering - it's a series). And Beth sent a bunch of goodies she got at the RT conference - nothing of her own except a whole bunch of bookmarks and goodies of that ilk. One can never ever have too many bookmarks!!
Lori:
Seriously, I think that was the last time I was in a bookstore. How sad is that?
No sweat on the Brennan book. I still would like it - but obviously I'm not in a huge rush! LOL
