Anne Does Shannon Stacey's 72 Hours

I'm not going to give away any of the plot by going into details, so I'll just put up the blurb.

Alex Rossi leads a double life, and it may cost Grace Nolan her son.

The Devlin Group: A privately-owned rogue agency unhindered by red tape and jurisdiction.

Grace Nolan walked away from the Devlin Group carrying Alex Rossi's child in her womb and his bullet in her shoulder. But a ghost from the past has kidnapped her son, Danny. The ransom—Alex Rossi. To get her son back, Grace will have to step back into the life she'd left behind and reveal her secret to Alex.

With vengeance for his mother's murder nearly at hand and a deadly substance on the loose, the last thing Alex Rossi needs is to find himself at the business end of Grace's gun. Now the clock is ticking as they race to save a child and stop a madman bent on destruction.

But Alex has a secret of his own, and it may be the ultimate betrayal.

In 72 Hours Shannon Stacey takes the reader on a rollercoaster ride of suspense and well-drawn out characterization. I could not put this book down and found myself reading it from start to finish in one sitting. 72 Hours is a fast-paced story that had me captivated from the first sentence and had me turning page after page in anticipation of seeing what would happen next.

This is a fabulous opening line... who wouldn't be drawn in by this alone?

Facing down an irate, grenade-toting guerilla beat the hell out of knocking back umbrella drinks in this sun-drenched purgatory any day.

See what I mean? I truly believe Ms. Stacey has found her nitch with the romantic suspense genre. 72 Hours goes on sale on THIS Tuesday, June 20, at Samhain Publishing. You can find it here. This is another must read story that you do not want to miss out on; and, for me, Shannon Stacey is a fabulous author who has found a spot atop my autobuy list.
