I was so sad to hear via DA that Suzanne Simmons/Elizabeth Guest passed away yesterday. She wrote some of my favorite contemporaries, always with a wonderful sense of humor and joy in her novels, and with wonderful heroes and funny heroines that I love so much.
She was a regular contributor on Running With Quills, and you can post over there if you like...

Happy New Year to Let's Gab! I miss you guys - hope you post more in '09.
I have not read any of her books. It is sad that she has passed on, though :(
She can still live on through her books!

I hadn't heard this! That's sad. I also hadn't read her books, but I had intended to. There were a few that I really wanted to try. I'll have to be sure to pick them up and read them this year.
