Yes, Lori...

After reading Once and Always I am more interested in historicals. No, they will not take over the spots for my contemporaries, but they have definite promise. I've decided to read some more McNaught historicals (suggestions?), some Stephanie Laurens, Sabrina Jeffries, and Jillian Hunter. I've seen they are very popular. I'll be reading Beth Williamson's Samhain books too.

Suggestions? Any totally awesome historicals that I have to read?

Lisa Kleypas's Wallflowers series; Julia Quinn's Bridgerton series; Suzanne Enoch's Lessons in Love series; Eloisa James's Duchess Series; Elizabeth Hoyt's Prince series; and Breathless by Laura Lee Guhrke.

Wheee! Dev! I've read the Wallflowers (first regencies for me EVER), I've requested Breathless from my library upon recommendation last week. Oh yes, Eloisa James I've heard of... writing down Duchess series. I tried Hoyt once and didn't enjoy her very much. *ducking and weaving* Making a list, Dev. Thanks!!!

Absolute must, The Outsider by Penelope Williamson. M all time favorite book. Right up until the last line of the book I was entrhalled, but also thinking, "I'm so glad I don't have to make this choice. So glad I don't have to make thi choice."

For the life of me, I can't remember if I've read Once And Always. I'll have to add this and all the others recommended here to my TBR list. Just keeps growing, LOL. Thanks Ladies!

I liked Johanna Lindsey's Malory series. I, also, really liked Jude Deveraux's Velvet series.

It has been awhile since I have a historical too. That used to be all that read...now, I cannot remember the last historical that I read.

Sarah got me intrigued. I'll have to check out the Penelope Williamson book also!

They made a movie based on The Outsider, starring Tim Daly (from "Wings" fame) and Naomi Watts. It wasn't as good as the book, but heck, who wouldn't enjoy oglinh Tim Daly for two hours? :-)

I'd recommend Almost Heaven by McNaught. If you liked O&A, you should like AH.

Try Dreaming of You by Lisa Kleypas.

And how can I forget...JO GOODMAN! You have to read her. Her historicals are amazing!
