I like Gardner. I'm weird that way. Ma...Hmmm... I like Gardner. I'm weird that way. Maybe I'll try that one. I'm really not into the Plum books. I'm weird that way, too, LOL.

As for the rest, I've read them all with the exception of the Gabaldons. My worry here is that I'd be listening to them till I was about 90. They're super long!

And I remember Wendy telling me how she hates to listen to erotic on audio. Like a voyeur! Heh.

I'm after mostly romance and thrillers, I think. Anything else and I sometimes have to go back a bit to see where I left off. So I like having the book in hand.Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08250972350798310498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12146466.post-2290510261336978172009-06-30T10:28:51.901-05:002009-06-30T10:28:51.901-05:00LOL Renee! I listened to an older Sandra Brown once (Fanta C....I think?) and when the male narrator got to the love scene(s) I started giggling uncontrollably.

Yes, I really am that mature.

As far as production quality - I find Books On Tape and Recorded Books traditionally put out a very good product. However, they are kind of pricey, and I'm not sure if their stuff is available on Audible or not. I would suggest checking your local library....but we've had that conversation before....Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12485867264936716806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12146466.post-22707009813145589482009-06-29T23:28:33.163-05:002009-06-29T23:28:33.163-05:00OK, so I'm looking at my list. I totally secon...OK, so I'm looking at my list. I totally second the Evanovich and Grafton.
I actually just listened to the first book in Brockmann's Troubleshooters series, and I really enjoyed it. (Like I said Sat, I don't read much rom suspense, but this was a good one!)
I've also loved the SEP books that I've listened to. I listened to all the Kleypas contemporaries. I've heard people complain about the Texas accents, but since I don't know any better, I thought they were really good! lol
The JD Robb Eve Dallas series is a good production, though I'm sort of meh about the series. (I know, I'm probably the only one in the world.)

Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series is one of the best audiobook productions I've ever listened to.

Wendy: Speaking of audiobooks and love scenes, I had forgotten that I actually listened to Megan Hart's Tempted. Definitely not PG! :-)

Are you strictly interested in romance or are there other genres you're interested in?Reneehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15408227410388147148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12146466.post-33690947257687723972009-06-29T19:25:44.622-05:002009-06-29T19:25:44.622-05:00Keep in mind that I don't listen to romance on...Keep in mind that I don't listen to romance on audiobook. I just can't do it. I can read the filthiest smut on the printed page, but have someone read a PG-rated love scene to me and I get all squirked out.

I'm partial to mystery/suspense on audio. Say Goodbye by Lisa Gardner was good (although it's a disturbing story). Sue Grafton's alphabet series. Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books. For YA - I liked Meg Cabot's Princess Diaries books and you really can't top Jim Dale's reading of the Harry Potter series.

That's all I got at the moment. If I think of any more I'll give ya a holler!Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12485867264936716806noreply@blogger.com
